Denise Yabut Cojuangco was born on 1st august 1961 in the Philippines. She is the daughter of  Nemesio Yabut, the mayor of Makati who served from 1972 to 1986 and Corrine Siddons. The couple had seven children. 

Denise has always been a talented child. She is also a great singer. She released two of her music albums under Star Records.

With all her estimated assets, her wealth is evaluated at around  $1 Million – $5 Million.

Denise’s husband’s name is Antonio ‘Tonyboy’ Cojuangco. Who is currently 68 years old. He is worldwide famous for his controversial relationships with women.

Denise married Antonio but they got separated in 1994. The reason for their separation was Antonio’s affair with an actress named Gretchen Barretto. This affair made it big in the news in the late eighties with regal films.

However, She is still the legal wife of entrepreneur Antonio Cojuangco. because their marriage hasn’t been annulled yet.

Career

She is an Olympian equestrienne who used to do show jumping in the Summer Olympics. Show jumping is when you need to ride a horse and jump over 12 to 14 fences. You have to follow them and the person who gets the least number of faults wins.

The show in which Denise represented her country is ‘Show Jumping’ which was held in the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics Games.

Denise made a career out of being an Olympic equestrian which includes three main disciplines: eventing, dressage, and show jumping.

She also gives training classes at the Manila polo club. The equestrienne opened a school in Alabang. This is where the renowned equestrienne, Denise Yabut Cojuangco and other famous female horse riders such as Joker Arroyo and Paola Zobel train. However, the school has gotten closed now.

Denise Yabut Conjuangco Olympic Career

Denise Yabut Conjuangco participated twice in the Summer Olympics in the years 1992 and 1996. 

Denise participated in the summer Olympic games in 1992 which was held in Barcelona. He participated with her horse named Ninnerdor. She failed in the Olympic games. 

Denise again participated in the 1996 games which were held in Atlanta. This time she participated with another horse named Chouman. She again failed in the 1996 Olympic games.

In 2009, Denise won the world cup in Monterrey, Mexico. Denise won the world cup with her horse named ‘Chouman’.

Gretchen Barretto and Antonio Cojuangco

Antonio Cojuangco and Gretchen Barretto have been in an open relationship for a long time now. Denise knows about her husband’s relationship with the actress and chooses to separate from her husband rather than divorce him. Denise Yabut Conjuangco is still the legal wife of Antonio Cojuangco.

This agreement seems to work for all parties. Denise’s husband Antonio has a daughter with Gretchen Barretto whose name is ‘Dominique’. She is a 26-year old woman.

Although Gretchen has often been tagged on social media sites that she is a gold digger. Because of the huge age difference between Gretchen and Antonio. 

Gretchen in an interview said that: “she doesn’t mind being Antonio’s mistress as long as they are sharing a wonderful relationship together and Tony loved him. She doesn’t mind the trolls”.
